    Tobramycin 0.3%+Moxifloxacin 0.5% eye drops- This medication consists of two strong ingredients- Tobramycin and Moxifloxacin. Both of these components together treat eye infections. Conjunctivitis is an eye infection in which the white part of the eyeball is infected due to dust, allergens, or other factors.

    Chemical Class: Aminoglycoside antibiotics

    Mode of Action: Tobramycin and moxifloxacin together inhibit protein synthesis responsible for causing bacteria and hence prevent further growth of infection-causing bacteria.

    Habit-Forming: No habit-forming tendencies were reported.

    Uses

    • Tobramycin 0.3%+Moxifloxacin 0.5% eye drops are used to treat infections of the eye. Eye infections cause temporary blurred vision, eye irritation, watery eyes, dry eyes, and itchy eyes. Conjunctivitis is also an eye infection that infects the conjunctiva of the eye (the white part of the eyeball). These drops are used to kill bacteria present in the eyes which causes infection. This bacteria can be formed due to various reasons such as accidental induction of allergens, dust, and other factors.

    Major and minor side effects of Tobramycin 0.3%+Moxifloxacin 0.5% eye drops include-

    • Eye pain
    • Dry eyes
    • Blurred vision

    Directions for Use

    • Lay down on your back, and rest your head on a pillow, before administrating the drops, shake the bottle well.

    • Do not rub your eyes and lie down for about 10-15 minutes after applying the eye drops.
