    Silodosin + Dutasteride Capsules

Silodosin+dutasteride is a medication combination used chiefly for the treatment of symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults with an enlarged prostate gland. It improves your ability to urinate and reduces symptoms like difficulty in urination or more frequent urges to urinate. The prostate is a small, muscular gland within the male reproductive system. Enlargement of the prostate is referred to as BPH common condition in men with advancing age (50-60 years). This happens when cells of the prostate gland start growing. In an enlarged prostate gland, the bladder wall thickens, and the bladder can become weak and no longer empty properly, with residual urine remaining in the bladder.

Silodosin is one of a class of alpha-1 blockers that function by inhibiting the effect of alpha-1 receptors and inducing relaxation of smooth muscle within the bladder and prostate. Dutasteride is one of a class of 5-alpha reductase which functions by inhibiting the effect of one of the 5-alpha reductase enzymes, which has the effect of shrinking the prostate gland size. Silodosin+dutasteride decreases symptoms of BPH and enhances your flow of urine.

    Medical Benefits:-

Silodosin and Dutasteride are used for treating symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults with prostate gland enlargement. Silodosin is a class of alpha-1 receptors (found in the prostate and bladder) blocker that acts by inhibiting the activity of alpha-1 receptors and results in smooth muscle relaxation in the prostate and bladder. Dutasteride is in a group of 5-alpha reductase which operates through the inhibition of the action of a 5-alpha reductase enzyme that causes reduction of the size of the prostate gland. Silodosin+dutasteride alleviates BPH symptoms and enhances your flow of urination.

How Does Silodosin + Dutasteride Work?

Silodosin and Dutasteride, provide relief from symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Silodosin is an alpha-blocker. Silodosin relaxes the muscle of the exit from the bladder and prostate gland such that there can be a smooth flow of urine. Dutasteride is an inhibitor of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which reduces the prostate gland's growth by reducing the amount of hormone that enables the growth of the prostate gland.
